I picked up the bike from the bike store today. After putting the trekking handlebar on and finding out the shifters would not fit. I brought it to the bike shop to have new shifters and brake levels on. After returning i started putting the equipment on. Handlebar bag. Top of front rack. Front and rear lights. Top tube bag. Air pump. Bell. Zound air horn, can't wait to use that. It sounds like a truck horn.
More to come.

Update on bike parts
The last few days i have been waiting on parts for the bike to be delivered. So far I have installed the headlight. Handlebar bag, which i already ready had. Out of the parts that have been delivered the only part that could be put on the bike was the kickstand, which it doesn't seem like much but mounting the kickstand out of the way of the Disc brake and rotor took some adjustments. The adjustable water bottle cages would not fit so I used the Aluminum fixed cages off the old bike and put the new cages on that bike. The rest of the parts have to wait to be installed till some of the other parts come in. The replacement Handlebar is what is holding up progress.

Order a new Bike for the tour
I ordered a 2012 Kona Sutra. Made a few changes when i placed the order. Tires, upgraded to Marathon plus 700x 38c. Change the handlebar stem to an ajustable one. I may change the handlebar to a butterfly bar not to keen on a drop bar but i'll see how it works out with the ajustable stem first. The bike pretty much comes ready to tour. It pays to buy the right bike for how you ride. Can't wait for it to come in so i can start breaking it in.
